Airspeed Indicator

Indu Airspeed indicator is an electronic device, which mimics classical airspeed construction and combines it with the state of the art electronics. This results in the best of both worlds; a perfect and intuitive analogue reading combined with high precision of modern electronics.

We take great care to design our instruments lightweight and slim as possible. IAS only weighs 210 g.

Pressure connection

The instrument must be connected to the total pressure source. Total pressure source is obtained from the total port on the pitot tube.

Static connection

IAS must be connected to the static pressure source. Either fuselage side surfaces or from the static port on the pitot tube.

CAN bus connection

When connected to the bus, IAS will transmit airspeed and OAT data to other units connected to the bus.

230° linear scale

Display is divided linearly in 230° scale with colour LCD display in the center.

Different scales

There are no standard scales. Scale is custom made for each individual order.

Pressure sensor

High precision electronic differential pressure sensor, which provides dynamic air pressure information in digital form.

Colour LCD

Airspeed information is also shown on a colour LCD display.

Different display configurations

There are three display configurations for airspeed indicator. Configuration must be specified at the time of order.

TAS and OAT (optional)

Displays true airspeed (TAS) and outside air temperature (OAT) information. Requires an OAT probe and an Altimeter to be present on the same CAN bus.

Visual warnings

The instrument can be configured to show three types of warnings on LCD display:
-stall speed (white);
-maneuvering speed (yellow);
-never exceed speed limit (red)

Slave option

Round slave airspeed indicator. Requires I-ALT-IAS or EMSIS PFD or NESIS to be present on the CAN bus.
