Indu Altimeter is an electronic device, which mimics classical altimeter construction and combines it with the state of the art electronics. This results in the best of both worlds; a perfect and intuitive analogue reading combined with high precision of modern electronics.

We take great care to design our instruments lightweight and slim as possible. Altimeter only weighs 240 g.

Integrated backup battery (optional)

Integrated battery provides approx. 1h of uninterrupted instrument operation.

Static connection

The altimeter must be connected to the static pressure source. Either fuselage side surfaces or from the static port on the pitot tube.

CAN bus connection

Altimeter will transmit altitude, QNH and vario to other units connected to the bus. It also serves as a data logger.

QNH knob

A rotating knob is used to adjust the barometric offset (QNH value).

Barometric sensor

High precision electronic barometric sensor, which provides static pressure information in digital form.

Linear 360° scale

Scale is divided linearly. Large pointer works in 1000 m (feet) per revolution, 20 m markings (20 feet). Small pointer works in 10000 m (feet) per revolution, 200 m markings (200 feet).

Different scales

The instrument can be delivered with two different scales. One scale is in feet and the other scale is in meters.

Dim knob (optional)

Dim knob can be connected to the device and it is used to adjust the brightness of the screen.

Different QNH units

You can choose between hPa in the range of (590 - 1080) with one hPa step and inHg in the range of (17.42 - 31.89) with 0.01 inHg step.

Colour LCD display

The pressure information is also shown on a colour LCD display.

External encoder with ALT 57

Altimeter 57 mm uses an external encoder to adjust barometric offset (QNH).

Slave option

Round slave altimeter. Requires EMSIS PFD or NESIS or some other master to be present on the CAN bus.
